The only comic I've ever read was the Beano, which i think is only available in Scotland.

But i've never ever seen Spiderman, or any other Marvel comics for sale where I live.

Heh, I went back and collected a lot of the Savage Dragon books a few years ago. The creator Erik Larsen never was one of the cutting-edge art guys at Image, but he definitely had a great sense of humor. The character design is what hurt that one.

Spawn started off strong, but McFarlane decided to get his hands in too many pies and became one of those annoying Gene Simmons merchandising types.

i read a flash one once.....and some spider man ones online.....they didnt get drawn too well.....a dragon man? whos green with a huge fin on his head, posing as a cop..........almost as fun to believe as nuclear radiation giving you super powers instead of the painful and quick death that the government made them for.............the imagination can be quite a problem when ppl dont use the imagination and mind

Comics are cool in that it's like a book with 4 parts art to 1 part reading, but as a kid, and today, I hate reading. So I have a big collection of comics whose stories I made up based on the picture sequences.
