i for on only have a wii. i would love to play super mario galaxy. one thing im finding sucks about the wii, is that game are either multiplayer or not.

if the game is made for two or more players, it is extremely addicting to play with friends, but lacks a quality single player mode. but if the game was made for single player mode, and just has those little extra multiplayer things, they suck.

i persoanlly love fire emblem. i play the gba version on my emulator all the time, and can;t wait to get radiant dawn. i've heard its hard. but thats why it will be fun, because if they die, they die forever. HA!

back on topic though, nice cartoon. i like the facial features, and the animation style on the TV

As if anyone plays a mario game for the story, unless it happens to be a RPG spinoff.
You have to admit, at least the co-op is better than watching someone play the game, but I'd hardly call it the solution to Mario's 2 player troubles.

Call of Duty 4 is pretty tight. You should do a parody of that if not Mario Galaxy. I wish I had the time to play some video games. :(

In regards to your image there, I think it would benefit if you made it an open composition. You have no sense of depth and the figure ground relationship is awful.

I've seriously did nothing for ten minutes when I played SMG, solely for the music. Also, long jumping off of the edges of platforms is still a blast.

Oh, and because you can shoot star bits at various crap, I consider Galaxy a third-person shooter.

I have and have beaten both games you mentioned (and with Galaxy, by beaten I mean defeated Bowser and have 75 stars, working toward 120). Uncharted is a really fun game, but Chapter 21 almost ruined the game for me. I really didn't enjoy the change. The unlockables rule, though.

I have never heard of Drakes Fortune. I liked Gears of War so Perhaps I'll look into it. :)

I'm yet to play Mario Galaxy, because I'm buying it my brother for Christmas.

The two player option does seem a little crap, but we usually take alternating lives / levels anyway, at least now theres *something* to do rather than just watch. I always thought having an extra character controlled by player 2 would be interesting (i.e. Luigi), but it's too much of a change for Nintendo I guess. In any case I'm content with the idea, but I'm yet to try it out.

PS3....I like the sound of that.
But I'm more of a fan of RTS games, and the RTS genre is HELL WITH PIMP BOOSTERS to play on a console, from my experience. So I'll stick with my PC for now.
...what I wouldn't give for a PS3 and a high-def tv, though....

A) Got a Wii. Only for Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
B) Wish I had a 360 or PS3, where all the amazing games are.
C) Computer gaming is the best. No other country is dedicated to a console or game like South Korea is to Starcraft.
D) Game Informer does suck, but saved me from Dementium.

Man, it was my cousins birthday this weekend. He got Galaxy (I need to wait for Christmas) and he was playing it, he wouldn't even let me be the pointless star. He said I made Mario jump too much. But I was bored. The game looks sweet though.

I hate Mario Galaxy... ugh. I grew up watching the Mario cartoons and playing the first three games... Ever since Mario World the graphical style has been growing Mario's head and shrinking his body. Today, just about everything "Nintendo" is riddled with Anime culture, which (throws up hands in defense), is utter crap.

Mario Galaxy could have been Jimmy's Space Exploration Saga with the exact same gameplay with non-Mario characters and no one would be the wiser. Then the game would have gotten the 7.2 out of 10 it deserves. Tossing a mustache and red hat on the main character, just to pump up your ratings through fanboys, should be widely considered downright unethical when someone is getting a bonus to their salary over the ordeal.

Apparently its the best Mario game ever, even though it has nothing to do with what made the first game of the franchise such a tremendous success in the first place.

I tend to forget that there are generations of kids out there who didn't get to experience Classic Super Mario Bros. when it was THE top of the line in gaming entertainment. But such is being an old man, right?
