I was grouped in with all these other animators and directors, from Aardman Animation, Sony Pictures Animation, Tippett Studios, an animator who worked on Kung Fu Panda, among other in "Rising Stars of Animation and VFX: Class of 2008. Haha, and there I am "JohnnyUtah aka Jeff Bandelin, Newgrounds.com.

It's a mildly surreal feeling to see me grouped in with all these people.

Anyways, I'll see if I can eventually scan this bad boy and upload it.

ALSO

I'll apologize again for everybody here, The metal gear collab is coming...we're having some real issues with flash holding all these movies at once and not crashing and shit..but we're gonna figure it out ONE WAY OR ANOTHER REALLY REALLY SOON.

when i compiled the SPRITE TV II the flash crashed because of the famous 16k problem, y added that code in all the MOVIE CLIPS and that fixed the problem

MGS collab has been very poor in it's schedule and to be honest excuses have been going on for about a month now . Even though I have heard you are mixing the collabs up, I still think you should put the fucking dog bollocks strongest out, then with some 'good/mediocre' collab out on the two.

I am so bluddy exicited for them, I just wish I wasn't wishing! Because this seems like a fucking eternity!

I can promise all you this, when we do the next one it will all go MUCH smoother. Tom ran the blamformers collab, and stamper and I are new to this, but we learned our lesson and it will never happen again.

I heard you're having problems with exporting the whole thing at once, even on everyone's computers at the office. Not having enough resources or something..

So I would suggest building the ultimate machine with like 16GB of RAM, some sort of SLI of two 9600's, AMD Quad Core and a copy of a XP in 64x. And then using that to export the project and then having the parts returned to the store the same night.

And I just remembered that I had a similar problem when exporting a 1600x1200 resolution high detail vector drawing and couldn't ever even get it to open after a certain point and later got Flash CS3 which allowed me to be able to open it there again and export it as well.

So if you haven't already, try CS3 with it, it's capable of opening Flash 8 files and re saving them in that format as well. I think it simply allows for the production of larger projects.

I have one hell of a story to share with you, Jeff, and everyone else. I kept this under wraps for quite a while, but I have to say it.

During you submitting TANKMEN 2, I was on a school computer and technically the school blocks Newgrounds (or at least they used to) but the computers had a small glitch at the time to block the site and not the users profiles, strangely enough and during the time. I was reading your news under the hopefullness of TANKMEN 2 and during that time, I quickly refreshed the page to imidately notice TANKMEN 2 was in the "Latest Flash Submissions" and the score read "Under Judgment" . By that time I was extremely estatic and I knew I had to watch but I was no fool, I knew that even if I did click on it all, all what would come up is a big "Acess Denined: Site blocked" page. So I refreshed this profile page several times as in being the only thing I could do receive updates on the curent situation, luckily I gained news from Jeff making a news post about the music and just nearly 3 refrehe TANKEMN 2 rose from Under Judgement and jumped to a massive 4.54 (or something like that, I don't know the exact score at the time). And later it was time for to leave the class, sure I felt a little bad, I couldn't watch TANKMEN 2 at that precise momnet of it being submitted, but I felt better as knowing it's released.

Hows that for a story?

I noticed they made some mistakes on that article such as writing Tankmen as 2 words, and everytime they wrote "Newgrounds" they gave it a capital "G" in the middle, when that is incorrect due to how Newgrounds was created, only sites like MySpace and YouTube capatalize the begining of the next syllable.

And also now that they mention it, why do you call yourself "Johhny Utah" on this website? I've known your name is Jeff Bandelin, and I've known that for a long time, but seriously, why JohnnyUtah???

Nah, I'm just fuckin with you man, you're an amazing artist and you totally freakin deserve this. I just think the "Tank Men can be viewed as commentary on the absurdity of war...." is a bit of a stretch. I don't know though, that's just my opinion, maybe it is more than hilarity and cock jokes. But hey, I'm glad you pulled through the creation of the Metal Gear Collab, and it turned out great.
